This book has left me with lots of questions. What would it be like to be Hannah? Lost, alone, and confused. I wouldn't be able to stand not knowing where or who I was. Where was my family? That would make me go nuts. I would be so scared and worried. I would want my life to be normal again. I am so glad that I am not in Hannah's situation, and I'm especially glad that I'm not Hannah.

I really liked the book. Do you? I cant believe she's not mad about going to the c. camp. I guess shes more scared understandable. I mean she forced to work to live! I could not do that could you?

Man this book is good. It would be terrible to be in one of those camps. Barely any food is aweful. It is so weird what happens at the end. I can't believe she almost dies! I hope you thought it was this good.

I think this book is great because helps you understand what life was like for concentration camp victims. It shows us the hardships forced on Jews and the courage with which they faced them. However, I also think this book is very sad to read. However, it should be sad because in truth concentration camps were terrible places.Overall I believe this is an excellent book with complete plot elements and good writers tricks.

How do you guys feel about the whole, "Where am I, where is my family?" thing?

hi

What do you think you would do if this happened to you?

Mariah said...

Maddie I guess its kind of confusing but it gets better just wait!!!

Hadley said...

If this happened to me I would be so scared! I wouldn't know what to do or how to explain I was from the future.

What has been your guys' favorite part?

Tanner HOPPMAN said...

who is hi?

Mariah said...

I would probably panic and freak out!!!

Hadley said...

Maddie, I think that would be terrible not to know who I really was, how I got somewhere, or what was happening to me!!!

MARIAH said...

My fav part is when the Nazi come and take them to the c. camps

Hadley said...

Maddie, I don't have a favorite part because it is all so terrible what is happening to them!!!

Maddie Haulenbeek said...

Me too! I wish that Shmuel would have just listened to Hannah instead of going with the Nazis. He hardly let her finish what she was saying! In my book, that was a really bad decision.

Whos your favorite character? Mine is Sumuel

Tannerrrrrrrrrrrrr HOPPMAN said...

I dont have a fave part because it all is the same

Tanner Hoppman said...

Definitely gitl.

I still like Hannah. She seems like a nice, tough girl. Gitl also seems like she is caring. She has a rough exterior, but I think that she is really a protective, kind, and helpful person.

I think it is so sad how Hannah keeps losing her memories of her life in New Rochelle! I would hate if I couldn't remember who I was, wouldn't you?

Mariah said...

What do you guys think will happen next?

Hadley said...

My favorite character is Rivka because she is so understanding and kind even after all she has been forced through.

TTTTTTTTANNNNEEER said...

mine is still gitl

Poor Hannah has to live Chaya's life, but her heart is in New Rochelle. That reminds me of Freaky Friday.

Mariah said...

Hadley I would be scared if I was frogetting who I was but then I would think the future was a dream and live in the past.

When Hannah first got transported to Poland, it reminded me of that movie that we watched in earlier in the year, Knight in Camelot. Hannah doesn't know how far back in time she's been taken.

you cant change my favorite character. its still gitl

Don't you think the blofova is pure evil?!?!?!?!?!?!?You would think she would have some sympathy since she was a prisoner too!!!!!!But no!I despise her, don't you?!?!?!?

I dont like blogging that much. I dont like it because people arn't in the same spot as you and you give away the ending. I think it would be better if every one was at the same spot.

I really liked the blogging experience. I thought it was a good way for us to communicate with our groups. We also learned how to blog. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that anyone in this room, even someone from another group, could come and join your conversation. Overall, I thought that this was a good learning experience.

i like bloging, but when you start responding to someones comment, we are already talking about something else! Overall it is great though.
